<summary type="text">A Checklist of Selected American Bar Association Endorsed Standards
Torres, Arturo
This checklist compiles a list of standards endorsed by the American Bar Association (ABA) through the 1985 Annual Meeting. Among other things, the checklist sets forth the dates on which the standards were endorsed by the ABA House of Delegates, the sponsoring group who initially proposed, and often developed, the standards, amendments occurring after the initial passage date, and sources where copies of the standards may be found. It is hoped that by doing so, the checklist will provide a starting point to those wishing to do further research in this area.

Sutton, Victoria
In this book, Professor Sutton traces the legal history of the act of kissing in civil society. The kiss, Sutton explains, has been employed to complete legal transactions, like the transfer of property. The kiss has also been involved in contracts, peace agreements, and plea bargains. Finally, the kiss has been prohibited as obscene in at least one major film. This book provides an entertaining and illustrated historical and cultural tour of the changes in the legal implications of the kiss throughout civil society.

Jarmon, Amy L.
In this article, Professor Jarmon explores ways that law students can gain a competitive edge during their summer breaks. While many law students will be focusing solely on finding paid legal employment, this article discusses other ways students can acquire some legal skills or broaden their understanding of the law, legal system, and legal profession. For example, spending time in a courtroom, participating in pro bono activities, or studying a second language are all ways to help expand legal horizons during the summer break.
