This book provides an examination of environmental law, focusing on programs that developed in the 1970s. The book begins with a history of environmental law. The author dedicates a chapter to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. In the following chapters, the book discusses the many programs related to the various environmental issues including, air and noise pollution, water pollution, hazardous and solid waste, toxic waste, and pesticides.
