Abstract:

As usual in the even-numbered years between Texas legislative sessions, this Survey of Commercial Transactions is devoted primarily to case law developments and interpretations of the Uniform
Commercial Code Chapters contained in the Texas Business and Commerce Code. Very few cases decided during 1996 stand out as unique or surprising developments in the area of Commercial Transactions. A few cases, though, have added to the body of commercial law available for Texas attorneys and a few others have contained indications of how recent amendments to the Business and Commerce Code might affect the future development of Texas commercial law. |
