| Title: | Smarter Regulations |
| Author: | Sutton, Victoria |
| Abstract: | In the United States a rapidly increasing regulatory burden for life scientists has led to questions as to whether this increased burden through the Select Agent Program has had adverse effects on scientific advances, through examination of the regulatory “fit” and if the program could be better designed. An international framework convention to address common concerns about biosecurity and biosafety is a logical next step. |
