Legal Education and the Vision Thing

Abstract

Professor Lloyd opines on the failure of legal educators to fundamentally understand the purpose of legal education; namely to prepare students to become ethical, competent practitioners. He then makes some suggestions on how professors can strive to live up to their purpose and how to remove obstacles to the institutional changes that must be made to help students succeed.
